Breaking the bank

I am not one for crusades.

No. Really. I pick a side and am then prepared to defend it, concede it or examine if there is a case to answer; or at least some room for compromise. But this particular subject continues to keep me incensed.

Banks and other official organisations ringing householders and asking they divulge personal information before the call can proceed.

My children are well used to the conversation that goes something like this.

Faceless Caller: Hello, may I please speak to Mrs Speaks?
